We will be learning about two kinds of persuasive writing: writing an argument and writing to persuade. In this unit, you will be asked to complete various tasks and post them on our class wiki. Remember to be a responsible digital citizen; never post your personal information and do not use your last name.
Self Evaluation
Create a post on your discussion forum that describes what grades you think you deserve for each section of the grading rubric. Be sure to include a specific reason why you deserve that grade. There is a copy of the grading rubric saved on Kidshared for your use.
Peer Evaluation
Read at least two people's self evaluations. Reply to their post explaining whether you agree or disagree with the grade they think they deserve. Be sure to give specific reasons why you think they are wrong or right. There can only be three peer evaluations (replies) per post (self-evaluation).
